Aroma - Roasted malt with chocolate and coffee
Appearance - Dark brown with ruby tinges. Virtually no head at all.
Flavor - Milky chocolate and coffee with a nice floral hop on the finish
Palate - Medium on the mouthfeel. Not as slick as many porters. Very clean on the finish thanks to the balance of malt and hops.
Overall - This is very tasty. Could definitely drink a few!

Looks good too with a very deep brown pour. The taste, while very good, doesn’t quite live up to the aroma. Mouth is rather thin. Overall, though a big winner. This beer is very dark and rich, and very good. So many porters have a burnt taste but not this one. Smooth all the way through. MaxPower (961), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Roasted malty chocolate and coffee flavors, nice dry burnt bitterness in the finish, a good porter I would like to try again. Ringo (959), Loveland, Colorado, USA

I don’t know what the rater who called this "transparent" was drinking, but it could not have been this. I’m holding the glass up and I cannot come close to seeing through the dark brew. Anyway, it’s not too roasty, which is a good thing for me, and more on the smooth, malty, and nutty side.
Give this one a try. NightOwl (45), Midland, Michigan, USA

Deep chocolate malt aroma with a classic porter tartness which seems to be a combination of lactic acid and some herbal hops. Very nice flavor, has more of that "deep" chocolate malt and pronounced tart grassy hops. A great porter!
