Pour is dark with very full and lasting tan head. Aroma was of strong vanilla, chocolate, and very light dark fruit notes. Taste was light chocolate finishing strong with more vanilla. This was a bit over carbonated for a porter and a bit sweet. Still not bad but probably will find a better porter for next time.

Jul 17, 2008 Bouteille de 12 oz achetée chez Julio’s Liquors (Westborough, MA). Arôme: Odeur de céréales grillées et de chocolat. Apparence: La couleur est noire opaque avec une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un large col beige mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de café et de chocolat avec une pointe de lactose. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture minérale. Forte effervescence en bouche. Jul 15, 2008 Pours to a dark brown with a creamy light brown head. Aroma is sweet chocolate and light roasted coffee. Flavor is full with chocolate/coffee malt taste. Very tasty.

Jul 12, 2008 Poured a nice dark dark brown with a tan head. Aroma was very roasted and coffeeish. Flavor was also very roasted coffee, and a bitter hoppy finish, not too sweet at all

Jul 9, 2008 12 oz bottle. Poured deep brown with an amber hue. It has a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee. Tastes comes in strong roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and some hop bittering in the finish. A little thin, but not bad.
