Commercial Description:
Great Divide brews Titan IPA for hop disciples -- independent beer drinkers seeking out robust, flavorful beers characterized by their abundance of hops, flavor, aroma and bitterness. As a big aggressively-hopped India Pale Ale, Titan IPA fills this bill -- beginning with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishing with a rich, malty sweetness that is carefully balanced with crisp hop bitterness. 65 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Pours amber with off white head. Big citrus hop aroma. Taste is piney hops and has nice, big hop flavor. Medium mouthfeel. Solid IPA. Good session brew.

12 oz bottle in a tulip. Pours a clear amber color with small off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit citrus and pine hops, along with sweet bready malt. Smells hoppy, but not overpowering, just a nice tinge. Taste is citrusy, but with a lot of malt sweetness. Nicely balanced, if a bit on the malty side. Medium, crisp mouthfeel. Great IPA, I really enjoyed this one and could drink several!

Good flavors, very drinkable IPA, but with less substance and backbone that I would prefer. The citus and evergreen notes were less intense than some of my favorite IPAs, yet a clean, bitter, smooth IPA. Will drink again, with pleasure.

12 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear bronze color with a large head. Good head retention and lacing. Big bitter wood and resin hop aroma. Taste is very hoppy as well... resin, citrus, with a bit of toffee in the finish. Medium bodied. Very nice.

Bottle. Pours golden/orange with a small white head. Piney citrus aroma. Flavor was bold and hoppy and slightly sticky with piney and citrus hops floral notes and some grapefruit with a rich malty backbone.

Sampling at Montreal Mondial de la Biere. Delicious piney-citrus aroma, highlited by a sparkling effervescence. Taste is very hoppy, refreshing, citrusy and piney, with a moderate sweetness. I prefer it to their DIPA Hercules, but they are both great brews.

Golden orange in color... Slight hops aroma... Sweet flavor with enough bitterness to balance... Very enjoyable IPA... Well done...
