Very piney aroma with a hint of sweet fruit on the backside. Flavor was very nice and balanced; pine, citrus, and a nice sweet finish. I liked this one very much. Picked up at Greens on Ponce De Leon. Wow, NIce looking beer. Fluffly head that eventually settles out. A nice brown color with an orange hue. Good looking IPA. Nice pine and hop aroma. Actually, a very nice pine hop and citrus aroma that smells excellent. Malt sweetness to back it up that leaves an excellent aroma. Very well balanced. Nice IPA with a very sweet flavor, if you ask me. The sweetnees is quickly overrun by the hop bitterness that lingers quite well. Kind of a strange hop aroma at first that throws me off a little, but it eventually settles into a very bitter, but pleasant IPA. Very good IPA. Fairly smooth brew; decent palate. fbenz (5), Andover, Minnesota, USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 13, 2009 Has good citrus hop flavor. Aroma is bold and hoppy, piny, and citrus one of the best qualitys of this brew. Flavor is very good a nice sweet caramel malt up front, slightly grainy, some good piny and pineapple flavors, more leafy hops than anything, not as bitter as expected but a very nice hop flavor indeed, very balanced, with a full mouthfeel, slightly sweet finish.Quite sessionable,All around a very good IPA.
