Commercial Description:
Great Divide brews Titan IPA for hop disciples -- independent beer drinkers seeking out robust, flavorful beers characterized by their abundance of hops, flavor, aroma and bitterness. As a big aggressively-hopped India Pale Ale, Titan IPA fills this bill -- beginning with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishing with a rich, malty sweetness that is carefully balanced with crisp hop bitterness. 65 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Bottle.A clear golden/amber color body with a nice big fluffy white head that lasted a while, leaving some nice lacing, lits of tiny carbonation bubbles. Aroma is bold and hoppy, piny, and citrus one of the best qualitys of this brew. Flavor is very good a nice sweet caramel malt up front, slightly grainy, some good piny and pineapple flavors, more leafy hops than anything, not as bitter as expected but a very nice hop flavor indeed, very balanced, with a full mouthfeel, slightly sweet finish.Quite sessionable,All around a very good IPA.

Enjoyed a few Titan IPA’s over the weekend. Citrus, pine aroma, medium bodied, bitterness balanced with malts. Looked great in a Chimay chalice a good amount of flavor without over-the-top bittering.

Sampled at World Beer Festival in Raleigh NC. It pours an orange copper with a nice white head. Aroma is very hoppy and very citrusy. Great flavor of grapefruit and hops. Nice mouthfeel without too much carbonation. Solid brew with a nice finish.

Bottled 1/21/09. Rated on 5/1/09. Clear light brown body with large bubbly head. Aroma exotic fruits, flowers, little bit of earthiness. Flavor of floral hops, albeit somewhat faded, nice earthy tones. A nice IPA, with a good syrupy mouthfeel. Nice lacing.

Tap at Bishops Arms (Stockholm), Poured a hazy golden liquid with a small foam and nice lacing. Had a nice strong smell of grasy hops and lots of it. Same with the taste, also some grapefruit and citrus. Very nice brew, I really liked this one.
