| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 24, 2008 Damn skippy, kids! CASK at Falling Rock. This beer was made for a cask - that it is ever served on gas is an insult to its constitution and accomplishments as a citizen. Wonderful bouquet of grapefruit, cream, orange, blossoms and sugar greets the nose. Flavor is much the same with the grapefruit and flowers at the fore and the wonderful caramel maltiness separated by the engine. Just a big refreshing masterpiece. mutant (854), Melbourne, Australia
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 21, 2008 Orange amber with a medium sized, lasting head. Large yeast particles circulating. Strong grapefruity hop aroma. Tastes initially of a bit of caramel, then the hops kick in. I thought that the hops would be overwhelming but they are only medium in intensity. Finish is ok and has a bit of alcohol. joeyplush (337), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 20, 2008 Pours a medium dark burnt orange color, cloudy, with a frothy white head, decent lacing, and some visible solids. Aroma of citrus and pine hops and some roasted malt. Taste is hoppy, with citrus flavors balanced with roasted malt. Finish is slightly bitter with a lingering citrus taste. bubbleflubber (893), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 13, 2008 Pours amber into the glass, with a white cap that stays nicely lasting down the glass. Lots of sweet caramel to the nose, with a hint of herbal hop gestures. The flavors have wonderful caramel, citrus somewhere between orange, lemon and grapefruit, and pine, indicative of the style. The pine notes carry into the finish, with a nice peppering hop and a touch of alcohol to close the pull. Decently complex, and a hybrid East Coast - West Coast take on the American style. Quite good, especially as the brew warms. Great example of the bolder, more complex offering in the IPA genre. Nicely done, nothing out of balance... But neither "over the top" as well. Great relaxing brew that was the best of the sampler pack. BMan1113VR (2884), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 7, 2008 Bottle, EBF 08. Yellowy orange with a thin white head. Nose is soapy hops, some meatiness. Mouth is very hoppy, grassy. Finishes bitter and dry with some maltiness. A bit overpowering on the hops, without the bitterness.
