Commercial Description:
Great Divide brews Titan IPA for hop disciples -- independent beer drinkers seeking out robust, flavorful beers characterized by their abundance of hops, flavor, aroma and bitterness. As a big aggressively-hopped India Pale Ale, Titan IPA fills this bill -- beginning with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishing with a rich, malty sweetness that is carefully balanced with crisp hop bitterness. 65 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

12 oz. bottle. Pours a copper color with a medium sized white head. Heavy aroma and flavor of grapefruit with a touch of pine. Medium bodied with a nice bitter finish. A very enjoyable, hoppy brew.

On tap @ ESPN Zone Denver. Hazy amber orange. Resinous citrus hop aroma. Malt takes a backseat to a huge hop load, fruity, resinous, with a very bitter long finish.

Pour is a copper with a small soapy looking white head. Aroma is citrus hops and nothing else. Flavor is again a big burst of citrus hops and not much else. Pretty much a one sided IPA but the hop profile is very heavy and satisfying.

Just had a IPA tasting last night at my house. There was no hype involved..just plenty of IPA’s to go around. This one got in dead last out of 11 brews. Ratings aren’t always correct because people are easily influenced by others opinion. Seriously overrated beer. IPA’s are my favorite.

Kind of subtle aroma..pours a medium dark amber with an acceptable head that laces ok. This one has more of the piney hops flavor than citrus, though there’s a little bit of a grapefruit aftertaste in there. has decent alcohol taste to it. Not too shabby.

Bottled: Aroma is complex, intensive hop notes with herbal comonents and fresh hole hop umbels. Light orange color, low head. Flavor is light malty, few sweet, intensive cascade notes, herbs. Fruity and dry bitter. Dry bitter finish. Bitter, complex hopped superb IPA.

Bottle. Thanks to Rune for sharing! Golden colored. A huge fluffy head. Strong aroma of hops and citrus. Soft flavor of citrus. Very bitter. Leaves you with a dry bitter aftertaste.

Bottle. From notes: 12/07 (Enjoyed while trimming the tree) . Pours a nice white head with amber color. Tons a piny hops in the nose. Medium on the palate. Orange, grapefruit, and pine in the throat. Delicious. This is one of my favorite ipas.
