The aroma was mostly pine hops with some lighter floral and thin citrus notes. The flavor was mainly pine hops without enough citrus or malt to balance it out and offer some sweetness. A metallic twang was noticed as well. Thin mouthfeel with a good finish. JaffaHawk23 (38), Broomfield(via Iowa City), Colorado, USA

I have rarely found one to match it in overall palate, flavor, and finish. I love hops and so this beer never dissapoints. Borresteijn (1415), Amsterdam, Netherlands

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 24, 2008 A good and not overly bitter IPA. The aroma is flowery and the bitterness is not blatant. In the taste however it’s more dominant. buzzoven (333), Japan

Great Divide always releases quality beers and this Titan IPA is no exception. Bold and robust in it’s malty flavour, it stands up well in the ever-increasing circle of hop bombs. A heady off white layer of foam tops off the orange copper body. Piney, floral sweet smell. Taste is hoppy and a bit syrupy sweet; but balanced. Finishes crisp and clean with lingering bitterness and an emphasis on some citrus notes. rthbass (27), Vancouver, Washington, USA

Pours amber orange with a pretty decent head. Strong citrus and pine aroma. Very complex and balanced flavor. Good mouth feel. You pick up several different things on each part of your palate. Great citrus notes common in a lot of IPAs but also a crazy pine/black tea component. Thats the first time I’ve ever noticed black tea so prevalent in an IPA. I really like this beer! Solid effort. Will definitely be seeking this out on tap!! MitchWayne (264), Kokkola, Finland

Poured a fiery orangish amber hue hazed with a nice offwhite head that laces very well. Aromas are largely floral and caramel malt, striking a fine balance. Some sweeter citrus notes waft in as well. Initial is very good, very bitter hop presence balanced by a very good caramel bicuity malt profile. Finishes bitter and with some remembrances of the wonderful malt. Very well balanced, not your typical grapefruit bomb. I really liked this IPA. On one of my higher IPA shelves. Cheers!
