Poured amber with a white head that lasted a while. Smelled like all IPA’s do. Had with an Avery’s IPA next to it. This made the Avery’s IPA taste like water. xShanex (47), Mansfield, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 16, 2008 Pours a light amber with a white, somewhat lasting head. Smells of hops and citrus right off the bat. Taste is malty but finishing strong with that hop filled bitterness. Crisp. Have another? Maybe with cheese and crackers. Taste is balanced and bitter, with nice hop flavors. Nothing too extreme, but a good solid session IPA. bermod (119), Jyväskylä, Finland

Starts and ends with a strong bitterness. I really like this beer and it will probably become a staple a only $10 per 6 pack. Not as good as a Hercules DIPA but more drinkable. lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 10, 2008 Hazy amber with floating particulates and a white soapy slowly dissipating head. Aroma of citrus, bread, caramel and spice. Flavor of citrus hops, mostly grapefruit, caramel and related sweet malts. Balanced with a medium bitter (& sweet) finish that’s somewhat peppery. Light years ahead of the rest of the Great Divide’s I’ve had.
