Starts and ends with a strong bitterness. I really like this beer and it will probably become a staple a only $10 per 6 pack. Not as good as a Hercules DIPA but more drinkable. lemasney (398), Trenton, New Jersey, USA

Overall: Reminds me of many other IPAs, but a high quality example with an exemplar in the visual area. I’d have it again in a minute. It seems like a regular go-to pick. Very well crafted. 18 out of 20. Quinten (966), zaandam, Netherlands

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 10, 2008 Hazy amber with floating particulates and a white soapy slowly dissipating head. Aroma of citrus, bread, caramel and spice. Flavor of citrus hops, mostly grapefruit, caramel and related sweet malts. Balanced with a medium bitter (& sweet) finish that’s somewhat peppery. Light years ahead of the rest of the Great Divide’s I’ve had. PsionSaint (51), Colorado, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 9, 2008 A great IPA full of hoppy bitterness and citrus flavors. Pours an orangy amber with white head. Thick in the mouth and reasonably balanced for an IPA. NOt quite as tasty as Hercules but certainly more accessible for those just starting out into IPA-land. dalekliz (546), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 8, 2008 Bottle. Clear amber with a bubbly white head. Sweet citrus aroma with a lot of hops. Taste starts sweet and crisp and then a bigger hops bitterness kicks in. Really great lingering bitterness. Really nice IPA. joshwilfong (794), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 7, 2008 reddish brown with large white head. nice flavor of crystal malt with large hop bitterness and flavor, some oakiness that becomes present, I am not sure if this is ann effect from the tap line or not, because it comes off as an unusual flavor Ethereal (1500), London, Greater London, England
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 7, 2008 Bottle at The Rake, with renffisch, duff and harrisoni, 17th May 2008. Orange with chunky "sea monkey" bits! Very hoppy aroma, but with bad hints. Tastes like you expect an American IPA to taste - big hops and a dry finish. Decent but not great.
