Perhaps some people will like this better. But the Hercules has a more pronounced hop, a fuller body and overall richness, and it finishes smoother. But this is an excellent traditional IPA and worth trying on that merit alone. If you can taste Titan and Hercules side by side, so much the better. Beerman6686 (1296), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 2, 2008 Poured a hazy light orange color with an off white head. Aroma was hoppy, citrus and piney and a bit earthy, flavor was much the same, but balanced by the malts more than expected, a bit tamed down. demdeac40 (242), Etowah, North Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 1, 2008 Cloudy amber orange with a fluffy white head. Nice hoppy aroma with earth pine and citrus. Flavor is very hoppy without any malt balance. It loses me there. Nice beer just too hoppy for me. Finishes crisp with a nice bitterness. MI2CA (1266), Noblesville, Indiana, USA

Pours transparent orange with a medium head and great lacing. Flavor matches aroma. Very well balanced. Palate is creamy. A tasty full flavored IPA. tgncc (844), Bellmore, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 30, 2008 I was expecting the little brother of Great Divide’s Hercules IIPA (which I f%$#ing love!!!). This was not the case. Nice hoppy aroma. Aroma also has a herbal, earthy quality to it. Color is standard for an IPA, a reddish tinge to a pale yellow. Small but persistent white head. Flavor has both citrus and piney hops, not much malty sweetness (again a departure from Hercules). Slightly thick oily mouthfeel. The palate is entirely hops. This is a good beer and I recommend it. It’s also a little more affordable than the Hercules. HermanW (631), Coevorden, Netherlands
