| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 25, 2008 Not a bad IPA, but there wasn’t anything to secial about it. Not much in the aroma - hops, herbs, earth, citrus. descent mouth feel - maybe slightly syrupy. taste - nutty and hoppy. not enough malt. bitter finish. mikebeertaster (96), vancouver, Washington, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 23, 2008 Not a bad beer. Different than most IPA’s that I like. It was more smoky tasty than fruity and piney. doubleo (1121), San Diego, California, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 19, 2008 Light amber with a little vanishing head. Strong hop aromas. Piney, citrusy, flowery. Quite aggressive but not exaggerated. Very dry. Lack malt contributions. hoplover (166), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA
| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jun 19, 2008 I was hesitant to try this one for a while... I don’t know why, but as soon as a fellow hop loving friend of mine suggested this one, I tried it. And the verdict... I love it. It is now one of my very favorite IPAs to by that comes in a six pack. There’s only a few that I turn to when I’m being indesicive, and now this is one. It pours a beautiful golden color with a touch of amber in it. Rises to the top is a slightly off white head that gives this great aroma of flowery hops and a hint... just a hint of citrus hops. I taste notes of oranges or grapefruit. The major plus to an IPA is always the smoothness of it. There is no harshness to this beer at all. Having 65 IBUs and smooth at the same time takes skill... and Great Divide has a brewmaster that has that skill. Thank you guys at GDBC.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 19, 2008 A clear dark amber colored beer, with a nice white/beige foamed head. The aroma has first of all a very strong American hop nose. Some fruits, like citrus and pineapple. The taste is fruity sweet, directly a dry taste with the bitterness of American hop. Between all this there are some fruits. A very good beer. Haslinger (666), Syracuse, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 17, 2008 bottle, aroma is hops with some some malt. The taste is malty with some hops. Almost a lightish hops taste but some malt taste is left. Goood beer would buy again MoDog (927), Griffith, Indiana, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 17, 2008 Poured from a 12oz bottle and served in a shaker. This IPA poured a clear amber with a thin, lasting head of beige foam. Nice sticky lacing covered the inside of the glass. The aroma of the beer was made up of very fragrent orange and tangerine, along with a bit of pine and graham cracker. The flavor consisted of crisp, bitter grapefruit, oranges, caramel, and graham cracker. Excellent bite, but with a sense of malt balance. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied and a touch sticky along with very mild carbonation. Not a palate killer with it’s bitterness...just nice and flavorful. A really well-made IPA.
