Commercial Description:
Great Divide brews Titan IPA for hop disciples -- independent beer drinkers seeking out robust, flavorful beers characterized by their abundance of hops, flavor, aroma and bitterness. As a big aggressively-hopped India Pale Ale, Titan IPA fills this bill -- beginning with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishing with a rich, malty sweetness that is carefully balanced with crisp hop bitterness. 65 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Another good IPA. A little light on the palate, a bit light on initial aroma, but it balances nicely with a pleasant bitter finish

120z pour from the tap at Tony’s in Ivyland, Pa. This is a pizza place folks. They just happen to serve some great beers on draft + by bottle. Awesome pour to a huge white fluffy head that laces and is sticky on the pint glass. Huge nose of fresh hops, almost like they were in the keg. Nice golden color and clear as a cloudless spring day. These guys at Tony’s have all these beers but no clue as to why they are great or why folks like myself order them. This one of the best American IPA’s I’ve ever had, hands down. Nice hop bite and a great nutty malt balance to a remarkable finish that leaves you satisfied that this was a great beer. This is almost perfection. I’ve never rated anything a 5, this is close. The abv is not noticeable at all. Ashame I can’t buy this in these parts by the case. I would stock up for sure. Why does this pizza place have this on draft and how did they get it????

Nice amber pour with a big foamy head. Lacing for sure. Aromas are hoppy, citrusy and I swear I smell a hint of butterscotch. Flavor is certainly hoppy, but there is a pretty nice malty flavor swirling on my tongue. This is a well done IPA.

Sweet hop malt aroma. Clear amber colour with good head and lacing. Sweet malt hop flavour with strong spicy aftertaste. Smooth palate.

12oz bottle at home: Orange amber with some large UFOs. Med to small off-white head made of large bubbles. Aroma of piney and citrussy hops. There is a spice and yeast component under the hops. Some fresh hop character. Some biscuit and cookie character can be found if you wait for it. The flavor is at first dominated by hops of course. Big hops but not overly bitter. Gets at the back of your nose. Somewhat woody hop note with big pine and grapefruit. Earthy/piney hops win out over the citrussy hops. Thats the hop side.. fortunately there is a balancing malt side. Good deep malt sweetness in the middle with caramel, toast, and some biscuit. Peppery finish with hops and a long dark malt.

Bottle, Poured into a snifter. Nice amber color, good two finger head which was white and fluffy. Lots of "floaties" in the beer. Good lacing. Aroma is citrus/piney hops. Flavor is the same, nice bitterness to it. Good texture, very smooth and enjoyable. Dry...After a long weekend of work it hit the spot. Over all a good IPA, that I will pick up again.

Nice copper color with 2 fingers of lasting beige head. Nose is mostly pine hops with hints of grapefruit. Very bitter piney flavor, with nice sweet malty backbone for nice balance. Bitter and dry palate, excellent IPA.

bottle into a shaker at a bar in Denver. This is a simple beer - very good but very simple. The aroma and flavor are dominated by pine hops. Really fresh tasting, drinkable, and bitter (due to the pine hop drag). Overall: great IPA, great value (at least in Colorado!).
