Commercial Description:
Great Divide brews Titan IPA for hop disciples -- independent beer drinkers seeking out robust, flavorful beers characterized by their abundance of hops, flavor, aroma and bitterness. As a big aggressively-hopped India Pale Ale, Titan IPA fills this bill -- beginning with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishing with a rich, malty sweetness that is carefully balanced with crisp hop bitterness. 65 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

I like the fruit and crisp nature of this beast. The bitter hops though I can’t stomach. Nice head, and cloudy blond color. Lacing was immense. I beer hop drinkers will love.

Bottled 355ml. It pours an amber beer with a beautiful rich head. The nose is wonderfully hoppy with notes of exotic fruits which include mango, lychee, grapefruit and lime. Some ginger and a lot of piney hop showing up too. The taste is very bitter accompanied by an excellent hop character. Nice lace. Grapefruit, lychee, mango and lime notes. Slightly flowery. Faintly malty before the finish which is extremely dry bitter with hints of caramel, peach and piney hops.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a 3 finger head and great lacing. Nose is fruity with oranges, pine and malt. Palate starts citrusy sweet but finishes with a bitter resin pine finish. Medium mouth feel. Good IPA – reminds me a little of Nugget Nectar.

4/30/08 notes: flast bottle of six-pack. Appearance is a glowing yellow orange with a small cream-colored head. This beer is unfiltered, with chunks of yeast that I found quite attractive. Aroma is of pine, hops, and a little tart fruit. Flavor is a wonderful blend of pine, flowers, hops, and sweetening malty notes. Finished with a lasting, semi-bitter grapefruit flavor. Overall, very well balanced and extremely tasty. Would definitely have again.) 3.9

I think this is a great IPA. 12oz bottle. Nice aroma just that hint of fruit. A wonderful color with just the right amount of head. Lots of hops just as it should be with an IPA. And an aftertaste that sticks with you, once again as it should be with an IPA. check out my blog at http://tulsafirstdraft.blogspot.com/

12oz bottle, Golden/amber, thin head traps some of the oily citrus hop aroma, medium carbonation. Mouthfeel was a medium, but a bit watery with some bitterness, but less than expected. I don’t know if this one was old or what, but it was a disappointment to me. Just too soft especially after having a two hearted ale.

I love this beer! Probably my favorite IPA. The aroma is slight but citric. A beautiful golden color. The bitterness is at the perfect level for my taste, because it maintains a light crispy aftertaste.
