Fruity hops, notes of tropical fruits and some malt. Fruity in the mouth too, with hops playing the major part, but it’s maltier than the aroma. Bitter too. Medium to full body, and a medium long finish. On the hoppy side there as well. Even though it’s a hoppy beer, it is quite balanced, but fails to impress. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 28, 2008 12 oz bottle. Copper color with small creamy head. Perfumed, floral, lemony and catty hops in the aroma with notes of berries. Bittersweet flavor with floral, lemony and grapefruity hops flavor, firm bitterness and light honeyish malt character. Good IPA. Blasphemies (45), Ontario, Canada

A little surprised how much stuff is floating in it. Overall I enjoy it, would buy it again. MaltOMeal (652), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 26, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a clear, orange-amber with an off-white head. The nose was of pine and citrus. Taste seemed more like a fresh-hops brew with that soapy taste. Was not as pleasant as the aroma. Mouthfeel was a medium, but a bit watery with some bitterness, but less than expected. I don’t know if this one was old or what, but it was a disappointment to me. I’ve had their IIPA and loved it, but not this one. Seemed a bit thin and weak. BlackForestCO (827), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 24, 2008 Bottle. Poured a clear copper color with a thick white head that left nice lacing. Aroma of citrus, some light pine, and earthy hops. Opens with a light citrus character right away that leads into a moderately bitter hop hit with more citrus (grapefruit, lemon) and some earthy, leafy hops. Smooth, moderate bitter bite on the tongue. Pretty solid IPA, I would like to try this one on tap. BuckeyeSammy (455), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
