Commercial Description:
Great Divide brews Titan IPA for hop disciples -- independent beer drinkers seeking out robust, flavorful beers characterized by their abundance of hops, flavor, aroma and bitterness. As a big aggressively-hopped India Pale Ale, Titan IPA fills this bill -- beginning with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishing with a rich, malty sweetness that is carefully balanced with crisp hop bitterness. 65 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Really like the hops in this one. Someone mentioned it had a bit of a soap taste, it does. A little surprised how much stuff is floating in it. Overall I enjoy it, would buy it again.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear, orange-amber with an off-white head. The nose was of pine and citrus. Taste seemed more like a fresh-hops brew with that soapy taste. Was not as pleasant as the aroma. Mouthfeel was a medium, but a bit watery with some bitterness, but less than expected. I don’t know if this one was old or what, but it was a disappointment to me. I’ve had their IIPA and loved it, but not this one. Seemed a bit thin and weak.

Bottle. Poured a clear copper color with a thick white head that left nice lacing. Aroma of citrus, some light pine, and earthy hops. Opens with a light citrus character right away that leads into a moderately bitter hop hit with more citrus (grapefruit, lemon) and some earthy, leafy hops. Smooth, moderate bitter bite on the tongue. Pretty solid IPA, I would like to try this one on tap.

A poor mans two hearted.. Very good IPA none the less. Citrus hop nose. Similar flavor. Differs from two hearted in the lingering bitter back end.

Copper color......thick, fluffy head. Very floral aroma. Heavy hop flavor in the front, with a few citrus notes. Crisp, yet not overpowering mouthfeel......balanced hop bitterness in the back.

Bottle. Golden with off white head. Aroma is very hoppy with notes of citrus. Flavour is hoppy, but not as bitter as I expected.
