Aroma is very fruity, apricots and raisons, with a lot of pine hops and a little caramel. Wow, a lot of thick caramel sweetness in the beginning that makes a quick transfer to a slightly acidic hop finish. Finish doesn’t last exceptionally long and isn’t overly bitter, but overall it’s pretty tasty. travita (1937), Frisco, Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 13, 2008 Amber colored with an ok head. Hoppy and grassy smells something seems off. Some bitterness and hoppiness in the taste. Not bad but not great either. jeffwilliams11 (310), hooterville, Michigan, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 11, 2008 Pours a translucent orange amber with a thick foamy buttermilk-colored head. Has some decent lacing. A sweet brown sugar nose with a great dose of piny and floral hops. The hops and sweetness work really well in the aroma. The hops hit you in the face. Delicious. Starts with citrus, then finishes with a dirty floral hop flavor. Has a good caramelly sweetness in the background, but not terribly well-balanced. That doesn’t matter to me though. This is delicious. A very rich mouthfeel with a bitterness that lingers for quite some time on the tongue. Vas19 (299), Maryland, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 10, 2008 8 month old bottle, probably past its prime. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Honey and some piney hops on the nose. Nice malty sweetness with a pine hops kick towards the end. Pretty clean finish. Surprisingly good overall, need to get myself a fresh bottle. hellbilly (1532), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 9, 2008 bottled 1st week of october... not really sure what year that’d be since the amber pour looked like real amber with all kinds of junk suspended in it.. yuck! it does have a nice creamy off white head which leaves behind fluffy rings of lace. pine and orange/citrus hoppy aroma combine with caramel graininess. it still tastes fresh if the chunks are any indication of old age. there’s a sharp pine flavor which stands in front of some maltiness, grass and floral hops. bitter dry finish as the alcohol is felt a bit. medium body with an almost parching mouth feel. at the same time it feels ’dead’ in the mouth with no development from the carbonation... sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 8, 2008 Bottle: Pours a clear orange copper with an off white head. Aroma, citrus, some pine, orange and grapefruit, pale malts. Flavor, doughy pale malts up front, citrus and pine on the finish, well balanced, with a dry bitterness that lingers nicely. Very solid stuff. BOLTZ7555 (1100), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Bubbly white 1/4 inch head rises from a rich copper body. Douglas Fir and orange rind battle a moderate malty sweetness. The hops win and linger long on the palate. Tasty.
