Poured a pretty amber, head was off-white and minimal. Aroma was great and could definitely get some citrus tones. Taste is sweet from the citrus and finishes nicely with a wonderful bitterness. Solid IPA. dmac (1507), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 28, 2009 12 oz bottle from Canal’s Hainesport. Poured a nice looking clear amber with a large frothy off white head. Aroma had lots of cereal grains and bready malts up front with the floral and citrus hops, although definitely there, more subdued and in the background. Very smooth drinking with a medium body and a lightly bitter finish. Flavor was similar to the aroma with some additions of toffee and orange citrus rinds. Not sure if my bottle was on the old side and the hops were fading or if this one is just way overrated. hayduke (1680), Eureka, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 23, 2009 From a 12 oz bottle out of a six pack purchased at Market of Choice in Eugene, Oregon, this poured a hazy orange with an off white head and good lacing rings. Nose of citrus and pine, with some flowers. Smooth and clean mouthfeel. Flavor is nicely bitter and shows lots of citrus and pine. Long bitter finish. An excellent IPA and lucky me, I have five more bottles to enjoy. rugbydude05 (303), Kew Gardens, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 23, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear dark brown color, medium head. Aroma very floral and hoppy as expected with a little pine and citrus. Flavor was not as bitter as I thought it would be and was very easy to drink. Palate was very smooth for an IPA and the flavor just fills the mouth. Very well done, great crisp aftertaste, perfect for a warm evening. BuckeyeBoy (1689), Boise, Idaho, USA

When I poured this beer a great hop aroma was spread, and I thought, this ought to be very fresh! A look at the bottle showed that it was the opposite, the bb-date was 2 months ago.
However this was still a realy nice beer with lots of citrus hops and some pine bitterness. joebudzjoe (233), Connecticut, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 19, 2009 Tap. Solid IPA. I compare it to another good Colorado IPA, the Avery IPA. Like the Avery IPA, the GDTIPA has a strong dry hoppy flavor, but this beer is more distinct in the sweetness of the malt. Tastes more like a IIPA than a regular IPA. Good stuff.
