Visited the brewery in Denver and had a great time with Bernie, one of the brewers. Nothing like a great friendly brewery! This was bright yellow and lightly malty, more like a light lager than an American wheat, but a good summer gulper.

From the bottle that I got with my Microbrew of the Month Club: Yellow straw with small head. Slightly cloudy appearance. Aroma is citrusy with some lemons. Nice mouthfeel for this type of beer. Good crisp taste, reminds me of a witbier with the citrus notes. I would have to say this this beer is underrated. For the type of beer that it is, is was surprisely good.

The typical wheat beer flavors came as a mild aftertaste deep in the throat. Weak head and lace, good color not as cloudy as most wheat beers.

Very good wheat beer. I’m surprised to see the rating at a somewhat low 2.55. Great taste, slightly sweet and very refreshing, with more than a slight malt character. Decent color and aroma. A quality beer.

On tap: Hazy, golden color, a quality I love in wheat beers. Citrusy aroma, thin head. Lemony-citrus flavor. Very refreshing, I would recommend with light barbeque fair or after mowing the lawn on a hot day.

Indeed, a good wheat beer. Toasty wheat, spice, and champagne in the aroma. Malty flavor, the wheat was somewhat muted by the complexities in the smell. Hint of skunkiness in the smell which reappears in the finish, still a good beer though.

Draught. Pretty decent wheat beer, refreshing hot weather beer, but I've had better ones.

Draft at the brewery. Pours cloudy yellow which is a good start, with a thick white head. Light fruit aroma but no banana esters. Full bodied with a light wheatiness to it. Refreshing.
