Aroma is rather grapy with a strongly sweet backing. Interesting... Mouthfeel is weak with a sweet malty backing, some raspberries, and a bitter finish.
Color me less than pleased on this one.
Re-Rate: Holy god this stuff just gets worse as you drink more of it!

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 28, 2007 Smells of raspberries, but missing the fruit flavor. Mostly malt flavor, no hops. Light mouth feel. Drinkable. I expected a bit more fruit. Could be the fact that the date code show made in November. Will need to re-rate with a fresher bottle. blackmurder (170), sadf, Hawaii, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 25, 2007 I liked this quite a bit for a fruit beer. The pour is a deep ruddy amber color with a decent sized white head. The taste is very light with raspberries dominating the palate. This is a very sweet, very drinkable beer. joebrew (608), Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 23, 2007 Pours a ruby tinged amber. Very sweet nose with rasberries and biscuity malt. It tastes like rasberry jam on toast. Not terrible, but I wouldn;t buy it again. jdp (54), Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 16, 2007 Bottle from Whole Foods in San Antonio, TX stamped the 2nd week of March 2007. Pours red-brown. Good raspberry smell. Nice malt to compliment the raspberry. Slight hop. Good fruit beer that provides more of the raspberry aroma than real hard juice flavor like some. nearbeer (1868), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 16, 2007 Bottled 1st week of Nov, no year (assume 2006). Beautiful, slightly hazy ruby with a huge, creamy glacier of a head. Strong aroma of fresh, tart raspberries. Initial taste is sweetish raspberry, though not nearly as strong as the aroma. Some malt comes through and even some bitterish herby hops as well. Creamy, medium-bodied palate becomes acidic-tingly and then watery enough at the end to refresh. Tastes like an English bitter with some raspberry distinction. Excellent fruit beer. eaglefan538 (2399), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2007 Pours red orange, generous initial head, ok lacing, nothing special, but heck it’s only a fruit beer. The aroma was of raspberries, of course, some tart, almost citrus notes. Flavor followed suit along with a zippy, almost hoppy, crisp finish, somewhat dry. Mouthfeel was light and carbonated, a summer beer for sure.
