Commercial Description:
Great Divide's mantra is that real fruit makes real beer, so Great Divide ferments Wild Raspberry Ale with hundreds of pounds of real red and black raspberries. Wild Raspberry Ale is a truly effervescent, ruby red ale that achieves the almost impossible balance between malted barley and tart raspberry fruitiness. Its naturally tart character makes Wild Raspberry the ultimate accompaniment to spicy Mexican food or on its own as a stand-alone session beer.

Bottle: Burnt sienna color with ruby tints in the head. It definitely has a strong berry aroma with a overwhelming raspberry taste along with the malt structure. This could be a refreshing beverage during the summer. That’s about it. Although for a fruit beer, it isn’t as bad as many of the others!

Bottle. Hazy amber colour with a small reddish head. Aroma and taste of fruits, malts with sour notes. I expected more of this one.

its looks liek a pale ale mixed with raspberry juice. i smell barley and raspberry. not bad fruit beer. not too sweet but the rasp. is pronounced with a small malt backbone. something in it lingers on my palate and i feel it should be crisper or more hoppy.

Pours a deep reddish color with a quickly dissolving head. Light sugary aroma with little hint of raspberry. Flavor was underwhelming with a fake raspberry flavor masking an otherwise watery brew. I will say, I am usually a fan of fruit flavored beers, and this one definitely underperformed...

Dark reddish colour with little head. Light malty aroma with hints of raspberry. Not to into the bitter tartness I’m picking up. I don’t find the raspberry flavour that strong very subltle.
