| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 4, 2006 I’m always a little disappointed with Great Divide. I always think they’re going to be a little better than they are. This was no exception, in fact, this was the bain of it.
12oz: a fake rasberry aroma, sort of like a kids juice box. The flavors reminded me of raspberry soda - carbonated weak flavors. linkolnlogg (94), your home, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Aug 3, 2006 Updated: Nov 7, 2006Pours out a deep amber colour with a rediculous foamy tan/amber head. Scent is strongly of raspberries which pretty much overrides other notes. They use actual raspberry as opposed to an extract. Flavour is incredibly sharp at first then quickly becomes sour but eventually levels out into raspberry and then stays there. Beer is lacking in real depth but is definitely unique and fruity it is just unfortunate that the fruitiness is slightly sour and fermented in character.. given the nature of this beer you would be safer defaulting to a good lambic vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 1, 2006 Pours brown with purplish tint and a beige head. Lots of musty raspberries on the aroma - bits of malt detectable, but mainly there are berries. Medium body with quite a bit of carbonation. Starts a bit musty earthy malt with some raspberries. Finish is a bit sour and lightly spicy. An okay fruit beer. Furseth (1333), Kungälv, Sweden
