A wonderful araoma of fruit and malts and a tad of hops. The flavor was awesome. Berry beers are very hard to make and they do nt store well. Great Job brewing and I really liked this beer. True to it’s name, smells like berries. Kinda like a black cherry soda. Lots of berries in the taste. Really berry. Not bad, if you want fruit beer. BigBastard (668), L.A., California, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 30, 2005 (on bottle) The aroma hits hard, this is fruit, yes, it is raspberies, ok. The colour is very pretty, sort like the ideal ruby; dark rad with hues of brown.Whitehead. The taste nd body becomes thin, compared to the sent, and there is moment if irritating biterness fon the malts, but the finish become quite full and caramel-ike, with a hin of berries joergen (8609), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 24, 2005 This beer pours a deep ruby red to copper color with a fairly sizable head from the start but it did subside quickly. The head had a slight lavender tint to it with a minor level of lacing. The aroma was unsurprisingly dominated by raspberries, malts and hints of syrupyness. The flavor is medium bodied and reminds me a lot of raspberry syrup at the international house of pancakes. Fairly bland watered down flavor...little malt presence but a sticky honeyness to the raspberry. Fairly active carbonation leads into a mess which flattens out as soon as its in the mouth past 1/2 a second. Unimpressively boring in most respects and to boot Im not even a raspberry fan so consider me not disappointed. Dry finish but nastily syrupy and cardboardy.
