Commercial Description:
Great Divide's mantra is that real fruit makes real beer, so Great Divide ferments Wild Raspberry Ale with hundreds of pounds of real red and black raspberries. Wild Raspberry Ale is a truly effervescent, ruby red ale that achieves the almost impossible balance between malted barley and tart raspberry fruitiness. Its naturally tart character makes Wild Raspberry the ultimate accompaniment to spicy Mexican food or on its own as a stand-alone session beer.

Flaske: Brunrød øl med et meget lille tyndt skumhoved. Kraftig duft af hindbær og humlesignaturen fra Great divide. Smagen er tydelig hindbær. Lækker øl.

Crushed with Jakebra. Some poopy raspberries on the nose. Some nice raspberries and some poopy cloying and mustiness in the flavor. Can say I’ve definitely had worse fruit beers, but compare this to New Glarus and this is nothing.

This beer definitely tastes of raspberry. Sweet and annoying at the same time.

Sampled during beer tasting. Appears orange-pink with an aroma of raspberry syrup and milk chocolate. Flavor was predictably raspberry dominated, but with some herbal-chocolatey notes that restraint the sweetness in an interesting way. Unfortunately, the primary body of this beer is way to thin and empty to achieve much more than an average score.

Pours an amber with a slight red tint. Raspberry aroma. Raspberry flavor is very subdued. Kind of tastes old in every way. Almsost a dry finish.

Bright red color with an average white head. A pretty looking beer. Smell is of very sweet raspberries. Taste is malty with a raspberry flavor goes down smooth and easy.

Pours dark amber ruby with a solid 1 finger head that has good retention. Aroma is almost all raspberry with a hint of grass and grain. Flavor is raspberry and straw up front with some sweet grain and grass notes coming through toward the end. Body is thin with good carbonation and kind of chalky. Pretty one dimensional, but would be gread with some rich bbq pork or chicken, something about it makes me want rich fatty meats.

Pours a funky pinkish red. Lots of raspberry aroma. Flavor is dominated by tart raspberries, with a little maltiness trying to shine through.
