Commercial Description:
Great Divide's Yeti Imperial Stout is an onslaught of the senses. An almost viscous, inky-black brew, Yeti opens with a massive, roasty, chocolate, coffee malt flavor that eventually gives way to rich toffee and burnt caramel notes. Packed with an enormous quantity of American hops, Yeti's hop profile reveals a slightly citrusy, piney, and wonderfully dry hoppy finish. 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

12 oz. bottle shared with MereLikesBeer. I’ll start off by saying this beer is epic. It’s aroma is amazing with tons of caramel and toffee notes, just as the description states. The flavor completely and obediently follows suit, with a huge caramel note and chocolate on the finish. I would say this is my new favorite stout for the time being. Cheers!!

Pours like motor oil, just looks awesome. Really bright, bitter chocolate and roasty flavor. Something different and "herbaceous" in there too...want to say mint, but that’s not it. Interesting differentiator. Hops come through later and tie it all together. Really nice beer.

This is another great IMP stout. While I haven’t tried its big brother yet I’m sure it is just as great. This beer is dark, thick and is a beer to enjoy. It tastes of coffee, dark chocolate and slightly bitter. The hops are definitely underplayed which can be nice. Highly recommend this beer and will always try to keep it on hand.

Aroma - Coffee, sweet roasted malts, floral hops, chocolate. Appearance - black with a medium tan head. Flavor - sweet malts, coffee, dark chocolate, very nice bitter hops. Palate - full body, creamy, soft carbonation, long finish, bitter. Overall - Awesome beer that hits the spot. It’s very good but I think I like the oak aged yeti a little better.

12 oz. bottle at Coasters. Pours black, as expected, with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, cocoa, and coffee. Taste of strong coffee and dark chocolate mostly. Moderate hop finish. Another excellent impy stout in what has become my favorite series of beers.

Bottled 355ml. It pours a pitch black beer with a smallish creamy cappucino head. Strong, deeply inviting aroma of bittering hops, coffee, dark chocolate, mango, plums and licorice all-sorts. Complex taste with a bitterness which is quite present. A lot of mango showing up again which is accompanied by coffee, licorice and nougat. Full bodied with a creamy palate. Peppery. Wonderful long bitter finish which is reminiscent of plums, dark chocolate, coffee, grapefruit, heather and sage. Flawless.

Bottle. Lovely inky black color with a nice chocolaty brown head that sticks around for quite a while. Tons of chocolate and coffee along with some grain in the aroma. The chocolate and coffee flavors transform into rich toffee maltiness, finished by a pleasant bit of hops in a chocolate-covered orange sort of way. Viscous and thick, rolls very pleasantly across the tongue.
