Commercial Description:
Great Divide's Yeti Imperial Stout is an onslaught of the senses. An almost viscous, inky-black brew, Yeti opens with a massive, roasty, chocolate, coffee malt flavor that eventually gives way to rich toffee and burnt caramel notes. Packed with an enormous quantity of American hops, Yeti's hop profile reveals a slightly citrusy, piney, and wonderfully dry hoppy finish. 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Near black colored with red hints. Medium sized beige head. Strong roasted aroma with vanilla note, berries, creamy chocolate and fine hops also present, soft aroma which reminds me lot about oak-aged brother of this. Medium to full bodied, smooth and creamy palate. Flavor is also rich with roastiness and chocolaty-caramelly tone in start, aftertaste turns to hopped with sweet chocolate still. Finely balanced and rather similar to OA-version.

Pours a dark black with a thin tan head. Nice aroma of chocolate, and actually a lot of hops. For an Imperial Stout the hops actually really stand out. Nice full body. A really good Imperial Stout. Worth a try.

Creamy brown head. Black colour. Aroma is malty, fruity (raisins) with candy and light chocolate and coriander notes. Flavor is malty with raisins, coriander and light coffee tones, ending in a moderately fruity and slightly roasty (tobacco) finish. Medium to full bodied.

Bottle@Home Aroma: roasted malt, chocolate. Appearance: deep dark brown (almost black) colored with dark beige head, disappearing quickly. Flavor: roasted malt, bitter, chocolate. Palate: very nice full body. Overall: very good example of Imperial Stout.

Che quando la versi sembra un tazzone di caffè; complessa, appiccicosa e amara. Vale la pena. Bottiglia da 37.5cl comprata da ciobì.

Pours a deep black with a nice mocha head that subsides fairly rapidly. Good lacing. Nose is malt, coffee and chocolate. These are reprised in the taste. Chocolate is bitter; a nice touch.Outstanding mouthfeel - full-bodied but not syrupy. It massages the tongue and palate. Aftertaste lingers, accentuating the hops. Well done.

Pours a nice dark brown/black with a tan head. Let this one warm up a bit before making your final judgement. Nice flavor or coffee and chocolate malts. Not much of an alcohol aftertaste. I want more.
