Commercial Description:
Great Divide's Yeti Imperial Stout is an onslaught of the senses. An almost viscous, inky-black brew, Yeti opens with a massive, roasty, chocolate, coffee malt flavor that eventually gives way to rich toffee and burnt caramel notes. Packed with an enormous quantity of American hops, Yeti's hop profile reveals a slightly citrusy, piney, and wonderfully dry hoppy finish. 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Bottle: Poured that thick tar black color with a light creamy brown thick lasting head. The aroma is sweet with chocolate and rich malt. The taste iis a roasted malt with sweet chocolate. There this dry bittery hop finish that makes a lasting impression!

22oz of pure sensual overload. This stout has everything a beer should have. It’s malty, hoppy, bitter, sweet, and packs a punch.

Bottle. Poured opaque with little head. Potent malty aroma with a touch of hops, which carries over in to the flavor. A nice example of a potent imperial stout with noticeable hops acting as a compliment, not a detriment. Nice.

Bottle. Black colour with a ruby edge. Stable brown head. Aroma of nyfällda trän & liquorice (the blue bassets). A bit alcoholic initially. Lots of bitterness.

Bottle. Really dark colour. Foam has a slight red colour. Smells: coffee, but I also smell berries/fruit, which, looking at the other ratings for this beer, makes me wonder if I had the right one!! Fantastic taste of roasted malts, liquorice, chocolate. After swallowing it, I had a slight smokey flavor in my mouth. REALY good beer. Enjoyed it immensely. Must try it agan. Soon. Please.

Bomber shared with friends. Thick pour, pitch black with a beautiful head. Smells great: coffee, chocolate, roasted malts. Tastes of the same, plus vanilla and a (good) strong hoppy bitterness. Luscious mouthfeel. I felt the alcohol was well hidden. Great beer, I enjoyed this a lot.

JET black brew with a brown derby head that rolls long down the glass. initial mouthfeel of bitter greengrape almost candy flavor and alcohol. alcohol subsides in just a couple of minutes. then in comes an intense hop flavor. just straight hops. dark licorice chocolate burnt caramel all sufficiently laid back to make this beer remarkable. slick and somewhat creamy and substantial. burn from alcohol comes and goes. barley malt aroma develops over some time in glass.

Bottle ࿃ cl) from Systembolaget. Black with a medium creamy brown head. The typical intense roasted notes of coffee and chocolate are there, but dominated by a massive piney and citric hop profile. The mouthfeel is superb; heavy body, velvetly smooth, soft carbonation. A bit unbalanced with a massive bitterness. Still very enjoyable.
