pours a very dark black colour with an oily consistance, fine brown tainted head which quickly reduces but leaves a nice lacing, deep aroma of black chocolate, cookies, prune and alcohol, roasted, sweet, very oily and full-bodied, the finish is very long and very bitter with a warming alcohol touch and notes of hazelnut and grapefruit - highly complex and dangerously drinkable; I love it !

Oct 7, 2008 Spicy malt aroma with hints of roasted. Black in color with a small brown head. Lightly sweet robust malt flavor getting moderately bitter in the finish. Very creamy.

Oct 5, 2008 Bottle. Black beer with a strong brown head. The aroma is mildly roasted, and the flavour is deeply roasted and bitter. Overall a nice bitter stout.
