Pours a very dark, oily brown color; medium tan head with fine-bubbled lacing. Inky, dried dark fruits and bitter chocolate in the aroma; red fruits. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: plenty of dried dark fruits, caramel, and inkiness; some toasted malts. Medium finish: roasted malts and dried fruits. Straightforward imperial stout. 8.4.7.4.14=3.7
12oz bottle. Pours a very dark, almost pitch-black color; dark brown, textured head with excellent retention and lacing crawling up the sides of the glass; a beautiful pour. Very nice resiny pine and citrus bitterness in the aroma (a huge step above Stoudt’s Fat Dog already); roasted / charred malts, bittersweet chocolate, and licorice; a generous pine-laden aroma with no show of alcohol; inky with oily hops. Full mouthfeel: roasted and charred malts, toffee, caramel, and plenty of chocolate; the hop bitterness in the mouthfeel is far less resinous and present than in the aroma; mostly a dense chocolately malt core with some mineral bitterness; tasty, satisfying, with a light show of resinous pine at mid-palate; a solid imperial stout with an excellent nose. Lengthy finish, showing oily nuttiness, roasted malts, and some bitter chocolate; dry and well-roasted end. 9.5.7.4.14=3.9 KAggie97 (2469), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA

This is one beer that grabs you by the you-know-whats and doesn’t let go. Talk about a thick, smoky, and delicious brew. It pours like motor oil, but tastes like a liquor-filled chocolate candy. Grab one if you happen to see it... kramer (2465), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a clear very dark black colored body under a very dark brown one inch foamy head. Amazing retention and lots of patchy lacing. Aroma is thick and full of roast, chocolate, and coffee. Lighter notes of alcohol, licorice, hoppiness, and caramel. Well balanced flavor between the hoppy bitterness, heavy malt, caramel and chocolate. Very big all around. Finishes with lots of chocolate and some alcohol. Mouthfeel is thick and oily in texture with nice soft fine carbonation. Finishes a little sticky and warming. Pretty darn good. Not quite up there with my ultimate favorites, but still solid. The alcohol did get a little distracting by the end of the bottle though. Same overall score as the Oaked Yeti for me and I can’t really say that I prefer either version over the other, they’re both very good beers. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

The typical intense roasted notes of coffee and chocolate are there, but dominated by a massive piney and citric hop profile. The mouthfeel is superb; heavy body, velvetly smooth, soft carbonation. A bit unbalanced with a massive bitterness. Still very enjoyable. YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany

Delicious. 5000 (2409), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA

This is one thick mutha! Lacing is very nice. Aroma is wonderful, roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate, and light hops. The taste is exceptional. Mouthfeel is smooth and velvety. Rich and roasty, WOW this is good! Sweet with a dry finish. Alcohol is very well masked. I wish I had a case of this. Did I mention WOW! Thanks goes out to ClarkVV for the trade!
Edit: The new batch of Yeti seems to bit less chocolately but quite a bit more hoppy.
