Aroma is caramel, roasted malts and coffee. Taste was roasty, licorice, chocolate and a tiny bit of alcohol. The mouthfeel is also tremendous, very full bodied. Great stuff. joet (1709), Fulton, California, USA

Nice herbal hop injection -- piney hop bitterness takes over where the bitter roast leaves off. Rich carmels. A bit sticky but not to any detriment. Excellent! ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA

(dont hate me). pours out dark with the orange tan colored head ive come to expect from imperials. the head is sorta like guiness, it just sits there and doesnt think about going away. has a smell of hops, and plenty of malts. coffee and toffee hints too. now to taste it......wow, bold, hoppy and a slight woody note make this a very good very drinkable imperial stout. goes down smooth, mouthfeel is thick rich and creamy. aftertaste is a nice lingering bitterness. this is a truly amazing imperial, and with any luck this will hit top 50 before too much longer. thanks like a MF brian! Aroma is the usual dark malts with roast, chocolate, coffee and caramel. Flavour is blanced with the roasted malts and choclate with the nice heap of hops complementing the beer. Not as smooth as the oak aged but still very good. jfm (1695), Holbęk, Denmark
