Aroma is big and hoppy with chocolate and toffee notes dominating. Awesomely huge, with faint alcohol notes hiding in the background. Really nice. The mouthfeel on this is one of the thickest and most syrupy I’ve yet experienced in a stout. Flavour is full of stuff - intensely roasted malt, dark chocolate, toffee, some coffee, hops, with a nice bitterness in the finish. Some alcohol warms the mouth and throat. Awesome stuff! Something I’d like to regularly keep on hand. Very complex, lots of different flavours and the superior taste of blackness. Very well hopped for a stout. A must drink for all beer lovers regardless of favourite style. badlizard (2396), Berkeley, California, USA

Very similar to Vídua Nigra from Botto Bier. Very dark color with a nice, dense and persistent brown head. Aroma with notes of Roasted Malt, Coffee, some chocolate. Flavor is complex, notes of Chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, nuts and toffee. Mouthfeel is bitter a lot that keeps in the mouth for a long time, hatd to forget! handsomejn (29), Arkansas, USA

It has it all, a rich feel on the palate, a luxurious smell, a beautiful black appearance and a fantastic coffee and chocolate taste. The aftertaste is amazing. Rumor has it that there is over 9% alcohol, but we have to take their word for it, as there is no evidence to the same. craftbeerdesign (770), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA

Very dark pour with a 1/4" head that disappeared to a thin lacing around the glass. Strong aromas of coffee, chocolate, alcohol and roasted malts. Average carbonation and wonderful flavor all the way down. Could be a bit thicker. But overall an excellent Imperial Stout that is a true pleasure to drink. zizzybalubba (405), Elizabeth City, North Carolina, USA
