Dark brown tight head prevails. Moderate aromas of dark chocolate, espresso and roasted malt emmanate from the snifter. Mouthfeel replicates the visual on the pour, thick and oily. Overwhelming blast of bitter-sweet black malts, coffee, and chocolate assault the palate, immediately sliding into a crisp, dry hoppy bitterness which very successfully balances this delicious brew out quite nicely. Admirably well done!! legion242 (1585), Richardson, Texas, USA

Poured deep black with the darkest head that I have seen since the reverend Redhook Double Black Stout. Very enticing aroma. Lovely mouthfeel. I wonder if this one will age well. I plan on finding out. One of the best Imperial Stouts that I have ever had, hands down. Strykzone (1483), Wood River, Illinois, USA

Just beautiful with its very dark color and incredibly thick, rich, and dark head. Aroma is almost as inviting and is full of malt. First taste brings roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and hops for tartness. Just wonderful! Mouth feel is smooth as a prom queen’s thighs. Yeti is an amazing balance of boldness and subtleness. This beer is so good it could be called inspiring. Drinking it is close to a religious experience. MartinT (5068), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Pitch black appearance with a large tan head. The aroma was smoke and chocolate. The flavor was very complex with some smoke, licorice, chocolate, raisins, and vanilla. This is certainly one of the more bitter Impys Ive tasted. The aftertaste leaves a nice sweet chocolate coat on your tounge. Very good! Thanks LordGorlock!!! mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA
