Commercial Description:
Great Divide's Yeti Imperial Stout is an onslaught of the senses. An almost viscous, inky-black brew, Yeti opens with a massive, roasty, chocolate, coffee malt flavor that eventually gives way to rich toffee and burnt caramel notes. Packed with an enormous quantity of American hops, Yeti's hop profile reveals a slightly citrusy, piney, and wonderfully dry hoppy finish. 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Deep dark completely opaque in color iwth a big light brown head that is completely retained. Aroma is very rich with molasses, chocolate, and alcohol. Flavor is tremendously prodigous. Nice roasty beginning, with dark chocolate, and a wonderful dry hoppy finish. Delicous and readily available. Quite the two fer.

Tasty and very enjoyable very hoppy for a stout, but I didn’t mind. Coffee, chocolate and hops, what more could a guy want. Nice thick tan head that stayed until about halfway through. A great treat.

Dark brown almost tar black. Brown creamy head on top.
Smooth , rich juicy malt. Big well roasted grains. “The bitter darkness is the train “. Aroma of Polish Baltic with tons of hops.
Full bodied ale , yet not heavy. Clean , smooth work lovely potency. Looking for big , bold strong ale look no further. You got all: hops, roasted malts , clean alcohol. This is a must try for any beer lover.

opaque, very thick, deep brown head, looks exactly like the freeminer deep shaft stout. aroma is mild roast, slightly chalky, flavor is loaded with hops, quite bitter, lots of chalk, roastiness and bitter chocolate...fair amount of alcohol...i think this bad boy could stand too soften, but i’m rating on it’s potential.

This tastes like every other good imperial stout. What’s there to say? Chocolate, coffee, caramel, blah blah blah. They’re all good but they’re all almost the same. You’d have to be a pretty shitty brewer not to get a good rating for an imperial stout, unless (in the case of A le Coq) you try to do something different.

Scaringly dark without head. Woody aroma with tones of fish and amine. Dry and bitter flavor with oily, smoked tones. Rocking bitter finish. More of this one, please !

Dark jet-black color, has a great tightly bubbled, brown head that leaves a nice lacing in the glass. Roasted chocolate, coffee and dark fruit aromas, sweet fruity plum-chocolate and coffee flavors. Nice burnt bitter-sweet finish. Medium-full body with creamy and smooth, oily mouthfeel, alcohol somewhat shows as it warms, beautiful.
