Poured a dark engine grease line pour with a dilapidated head. I think the head was so weak due to me just washing my glass with soap (my bad). Body is very full with a strong roasted chocolate taste and a strong hop bite at the end. I enjoyed this beer a great deal and would love to try the Gold Medal winner of 2005 that beat out the Yeti.

Oct 7, 2008 Spicy malt aroma with hints of roasted. Black in color with a small brown head. Lightly sweet robust malt flavor getting moderately bitter in the finish. Very creamy.

Oct 5, 2008 Bottle. Black beer with a strong brown head. The aroma is mildly roasted, and the flavour is deeply roasted and bitter. Overall a nice bitter stout.
