Commercial Description:
Great Divide's Yeti Imperial Stout is an onslaught of the senses. An almost viscous, inky-black brew, Yeti opens with a massive, roasty, chocolate, coffee malt flavor that eventually gives way to rich toffee and burnt caramel notes. Packed with an enormous quantity of American hops, Yeti's hop profile reveals a slightly citrusy, piney, and wonderfully dry hoppy finish. 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Dark dark Brown pour with very dark tan head. Sweet chocolatey, roasty aroma. Hoppy, malty, roasty, all of these words can be used to describe this phenomenal beer. Not as dank and dark as its oak aged brother, this beer still has a resounding malt presence with echoes of chocolate and flowery hops. I am in love all over again.

Blind tasting. Hoppy notes with citrus and some spruce in the aroma. Bitter from the hops, with some bitter chocolate malts, toasty and roasty. Oily palate. Flavor clings.

22 oz. bottle. Dark black pour with a large, frothy dark tan head. Aroma of chocolate and piney hops. Creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is nice and bitter, with hints of chocolate, roasted coffee, and burnt notes. Finish is bitter with dark fruit undertones.

22 oz. bottle - side by side with the oak and BA versions; jet black with quickly fading tan head; heavy on the bitterness with huge coffee aromas; drinks dry and sweet; plenty of chocolate, but coffee dominates and the hops add to that bitterness; very nice overall, but not quite as smooth as the oaked version and much more enjoyable than the BA version

Great Divide Yeti Imperial Stout is a black beer with a cloud-like mocha head. The aroma is fantastic with notes of coffee, chocolate and tons of roasted malt. The flavor is a perfect copy of the aroma. This beer packs a very large punch of bitter hops and is well balanced while pushing all of the limits.

Great near black pour with dark brown head. Sweet lactic malty aroma, with light bitter chocolate and some oakey wood. Flavor is roasty medium chocolate with some bitterness and abv on the finish. Medium full body is creamy and chalky. Very enjoyable.
