Nothing at all to get excited about here, and Great Lakes has many far superior beers. Pours amber with small white head. Mild malty with some caramel. A bit of a nasty aftertaste. Not seeing the premium quality in the taste. Bejaaamin (115), London, Ontario, Canada
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Sep 25, 2009 slightly hazy amber red, little head, some lacing. nose; sour dough, sharp musky odour, very disturbing, smells off. taste; hmmm, slightly sweet, very bland though, uninteresting, more mass market piss. cfrancis (367), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 24, 2009 Aroma of malt and caramel, taste is malt and some bitterness. Not terribly complex and little character. It’s not terrible but not memorable. Listigovers (103), Ontario, Canada
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 4/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 1/20 | Aug 5, 2009 On tap, quite possibly one of the worst beers I have ever had, I tried to pawn this off on someone at the table, but they all found it too bad to finish. Drain pour, basically. Aroma is extremely strong and sweet, the beer basically tasted as if they brewed an extremely boring red beer and then poured some syrup in it. It looked GREAT when they poured it, and then it just all went to hell when I smelled and tasted it. Avoid like the plague Skidds (252), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 11, 2009 Bottle. Pours a nice amber with a dark white head. sweet aroma of malts, light caramel, and fruit. I didn’t mind this one at all. Nothing too interesting though. sebletitje (2000), Tampa, Florida, USA

Pours copper/amber with off white head.
Aroma of floral hops, malty with faint notes of caramel.
Taste is malty, hoppy with some fruit presence. Overall mouthfeel is watery with slight dry-bubbly-bitter caramel finish.
Not horrible, but too one dimensional and boring. JohnBarleycorn (397), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Aug 17, 2008 Bottle. More brown than red, with a light-brown body and dark brown around the edges. Aroma is pretty weak overall, with vague cherry and malt shyly making their presence known. Weak palate tips towards the offensive end of the scale. Macro-style watered-down flavour profile a real letdown, with inoffensive malt, slight fruit and very little length. Built like a buck-a-beer, but with a premium craft-brewed price tag. gilvanblight (397), Windsor, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Aug 9, 2008 Burnt Sienna colour with a very light soapy head. Smokey warm and slighly nutty scent. Watery at first but then a nice malty rise. Thick flavourful finish. Rahter nice. I could see drinking this all night. The more I have the more I like it. Wish this was avaliable locally all the time.
