It pours a very nice looking copper brown color the taste is fresh and clean with a nice hop background that balances out the solid malt flavors. this beer is a very good blend of tastes I really like it dmtroyer (412), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 9, 2008 12oz. Pours a light golden amber with a smallish white head. Aromas aren’t too interesting but certainly a robust malty grapefruit. Hops again are the major feature of the body but there is a very nice malt backbone to this pale ale. I am taking a certain liking to great lakes. Lubiere (4539), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 8, 2008 A golden ale with a thick off white head. A nice caramel aroma with British hops. In mouth, a clean crisp ale with caramel malt, grainy, lightly peppery with nice green hops. Light quaffer. Sampled at Flour City brewfest, Rochester, NY, August 15 2008. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 3, 2008 From MrChopin via trade. The pour was a fairly standard copper color with an off-white head that was dense and produced average lacing. The aroma was rich caramel malts standing up nicely to pine and light citrus hops. The flavor was more malt and caramel than I expected. Some pine hops, not very aggressive citrus. Good, medium bodied mouthfeel. Very drinkable. ajm (945), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 29, 2008 Tap at a steakhouse in Deerfield. A weak but refreshing IPA: tastes more like a Pale. Clean and smooth but there’s nothing really getting in the way of those. Radek Kliber (3962), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

Appearance: finely hazed amber looking ale with medium light beige head. 3- Aroma: rich, complex blend of citric, fruity hops, hint of lime, mango. 8- Flavour/Palate: medium bodied. Base black tea like bitterness, body fairly smooth even bit oily. Plenty of hops but none of acidic hop harshness, this ale is clean work. Malts well, quietly blended with rest. Impressive balancing work in such style. All this made this ale very drinkable and approachable. Fairly mild but long lasting bitter ending. Subtle yet noticeable differences put this brew apart from rest. Quality is in details. Great session bitter ale.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 28, 2008 Updated: Mar 9, 2009Aroma is pleasantly hoppy with some caramel. Golden pour, small white head, minimal lace. Flavor follows the aroma, sweet and hoppy, but there’s a stale malt off-element in the finish. Nice tingly hop burn on the palate. f351c4v (408), Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 20, 2008 Pours a clear reddish hue with a small, white head. Sharp, hoppy aroma, offset by malty sweetness. Medium body reveals a great balance of malts vs. a fresh cut hop finish. A nice standard ale.
