| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 27, 2008 Pours a translucent copper with thin white head. Mild hoppy aroma. Some sweet caramel balances the hops pretty well. I kind of wish it was a little more hoppy. Nice amount of pine and just a little citrus. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 24, 2008 bottle. pours a totally clear amber with a thinnish white head that lingers and laces. great hoppy smell, with flowers, grapefruit, bubblegum, and pine trees coming together in some weird garden of eden thing, with a solid sugary bready malt taking up the background. more of the same in the taste, with the malt being a bit nuttier and the hops taking on a bit of a spicy character as well. moderately bitter finish, quite bubbly, with a sort of tingly, resinous, coating mouthfeel, and a medium body. quite good. fiver29 (726), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 19, 2008 Bottle pours a darker gold color with a thin tan head. Head dissipates quickly. Has a nice hop aroma to it that smells like subtle pine. A hint of sweetness is apparent also. Has a light mouthfeel that leads to a good sweet caramel like taste upfront with a citrus finish. Nice brew. msante79 (841), Orland Hills, Illinois, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 17, 2008 Bottle courtesy of fiver29. Pours a crystal clear dark golden color with a two finger head that disappeared quickly. Nose is pretty mild. Malt with some pine and citrus. Palate is mild also with some malt and a slightly bitter resin aftertaste. Best by date is 5/25/08, so maybe some of the hop bite has left. An ok brew that I’m grateful for the chance to try – thanks John! dolemite77 (184), Maryville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 15, 2008 Pours golden, with a nice light head that lasts for most of the beer. Aroma is piney cascade hops. Flavor is of fresh hops and a thin malt. A very good craft beer, but just nothing I’m too excited with. Of course I rated it right after Bells Hopslam, so probably not a good way to do it. Worth a purchase thought to be sure. bierkoning (6089), La Tropica, Netherlands
