Aug 18, 2007 Definitely an APA, not an IPA. Heavier mouthfeel changes a bit as you swallow. GREAT aroma of pine needles and floral hops. Crisp taste, dry hops and pine with a balance of breadiness. Very good session ale. I’m half in the bag on them now!

Aug 16, 2007 12 oz bottle poured into standard pint glass. Pour reveals strong amber color, clarity is clear with no particles. Aroma is superb and very inviting; includes strong pine, hop, and light bread notes predominate. Mouthfeel is full bodied, but somehow also a little thin upon finish. Bitterness says mild "IPA", heavier body and mouthfeel says "American Pale Ale."

Aug 13, 2007 A very nice American pale ale (not IPA). Hops are pronounced but are not overdone. Clean and crisp, eminently drinkable.

Aug 11, 2007 12oz bottle courtesy of Crizay. Thank you sir. Pours a resplendent glowing orange boy with a small, sudsy white head that has tremendous lasting power. Once the head does go away sheets of lacing decorate the side of the glass. On the nose we have a blast of citrus, hops, floral notes and a very muted note of sweet malts. Tons of hops in the flavor, along with grapefruit, oranges, malt and pine. Tastes like sucking on a pinecone, or what I would imagine that tastes like. Medium bodied, astringent, oily mouthfeel. Finish is bitter, dry, medium length. The oily feeling stays around for quite a while on the tongue after drinking each sip. Well done.

Aug 9, 2007 This is one of my favorite ’American’ Pale Ale...This is actually not really an IPA, its an American style Pale Ale, which differs in more ways then one. Tasty beer you will not be disappointed, very drinkable

Aug 8, 2007 Pretty hoppy IPA, This beer makes a pretty good daily drinker for someone who is into this style, where as it is nothing too special it is very far from being mediocre.
