GREAT aroma of pine needles and floral hops. Crisp taste, dry hops and pine with a balance of breadiness. Very good session ale. I’m half in the bag on them now! Louipa (121), USA

Pour reveals strong amber color, clarity is clear with no particles. Aroma is superb and very inviting; includes strong pine, hop, and light bread notes predominate. Mouthfeel is full bodied, but somehow also a little thin upon finish. Bitterness says mild "IPA", heavier body and mouthfeel says "American Pale Ale." Kirill (264), Durham, North Carolina, USA

Pours a resplendent glowing orange boy with a small, sudsy white head that has tremendous lasting power. Once the head does go away sheets of lacing decorate the side of the glass. On the nose we have a blast of citrus, hops, floral notes and a very muted note of sweet malts. Tons of hops in the flavor, along with grapefruit, oranges, malt and pine. Tastes like sucking on a pinecone, or what I would imagine that tastes like. Medium bodied, astringent, oily mouthfeel. Finish is bitter, dry, medium length. The oily feeling stays around for quite a while on the tongue after drinking each sip. Well done. bushwik (11), chicago, Illinois, USA
| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 9, 2007 This is one of my favorite ’American’ Pale Ale...This is actually not really an IPA, its an American style Pale Ale, which differs in more ways then one. Tasty beer you will not be disappointed, very drinkable dankman38 (228), Somewhere in, Ohio, USA
