| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Mar 27, 2007 Updated: Apr 10, 200712oz bottle. Pours golden/copper color with a small, airy white head. A decent amount of bubbles rising to the top. Aroma is pretty subtle. Very balanced hop smell but not much of it. Some citrus and bread as well. Taste is smooth and balanced with a bit of bitterness in the finish. This is way more mellow than I anticipated. That’s not a bad thing but I would have enjoyed a lot more hops in the flavor. This is a good beer if you’re looking for something smooth and easy to drink but I’ll stick with the bigger pale ales. strangaj (229), West Chester, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 26, 2007 Nice and solid considering it genre. A bit more body than a traditional pale ale and has a very smooth taste which I enjoy over the bitterness and heavy hops of other pale ales. Can’t complain, but I do like the Sierra Nevada pale ale and Wolaver’s pale ale better DrFantasmo (8), Lexington, Kentucky, USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 22, 2007 Amber colored brew with light lacing.
