Aroma is full of citrusy hops and sweet maltiness. Flavor is very much like the aroma, a smooth mixture between the two. The sweet caramel malts come in afterwards to balance out the citrus and pine hops. A very good APA. lumberjack (178), Michigan, USA

Pretty weak for an IPA, but enjoyable nonetheless. Seemed to go stale a bit too quickly, however. khwheel (8), USA does not count | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 25, 2007 A great beer. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 23, 2007 Golden amber in color, nice white head. Smells nicely friuty, a little caramel malt. Surprisingly hoppy, not a grat balance between hops and malt, a little too wheaty a flavor. Goes down smooth, a nice beer.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 21, 2007 Poured golden amber with a few bubbles, small pine scent with a medium hop bouquet, sweet malt fragrances, some citrus on the nose, nice hop bite with malt on the tongue, some sweetness in the mouth, more hop bitterness then I have experienced with other pale ales. pet3rman (206), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Feb 21, 2007 Pours amber with thick tan head. Malt meets hops flavor. Pretty complex pale ale. Perfect on the palate. (Really fullbodied for a pale ale). Some astringent on the finish followed by nice bitterness. Good beer. wxman (588), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 20, 2007 Pours a clear bright amber with a full white head. Spicy hoppy aroma. Rich sweet malt flavor with citrus notes and spices. An assertiveAmerican ale with more character than most. A worthy effort.
