| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Feb 21, 2007 Pours amber with thick tan head. Malt meets hops flavor. Pretty complex pale ale. Perfect on the palate. (Really fullbodied for a pale ale). Some astringent on the finish followed by nice bitterness. Good beer. wxman (594), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 20, 2007 Pours a clear bright amber with a full white head. Spicy hoppy aroma. Rich sweet malt flavor with citrus notes and spices. An assertiveAmerican ale with more character than most. A worthy effort. canobeano (5), USA does not count | 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Feb 15, 2007 Yes, very slightly citrusy with hops and malt evident. Doesn’t bite like a hop-heavy Ale. Great with or without food. pineypower (1109), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 14, 2007 Picked up out in PA at a new favorite bottle shop. Pours out a clear light copper color with a moderate sized white head. Nice aroma of some citrus hops and slight sweet malts. Taste is very well balanced with a nice sweet malt taste that is balanced perfectly with a dry hop finish. Rynoplasty (548), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 14, 2007 Pours a light amber with a big off white head. Aroma is of citrus hops and pale malt. Taste is citrusy, but with malt coming through as well, very refreshing and clean but with a bitter aftertaste. Kind of thin mouthfeel that makes it really easy to drink. Overall a good pale ale. cubbyg (1), Parma Hts., Ohio, USA does not count | 4.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Feb 9, 2007 My favorite pale ale. It has surpassed Deschutes Mirror Pond and is now my #1 Domestic Pale Ale. One of the few Gold Medalists in Cleveland. Now if only the Tribe can get to the World Series again!! Pours a damn near perfectly clear amber with a nice sized head that faded a little quick. Smell is a little lighter than expected. Taste is very solid and smooth for an PA. Drinkability? Would I buy more, yes. Can I drink a ton in a row #### yes.
