| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 28, 2006 Bottle. Pours the color of brass with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops and more malt than I was expecting. The flavor is crisp with resinous hops, but has some notes of bread as well. This would make a very good session beer. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 23, 2006 Bottle from Duane. This bottle was a little old though, as it says best buy August 4th, 2006. I didnt notice any oxidation though. Poured an impressive crystal clear copper color. Sweet, floral hoppy aroma. This was a bit thin, and the flavor just wasn’t quite there. I’d like to come back to this one to rerate it when I can get my hands on a fresher bottle. smhncabot (310), Cabot, Arkansas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 20, 2006 Pours golden with thin head and minimal lacing. Aroma moderate sweet citrus and floral hopping. Mouth medium smooth. Flavor is citrus with just the right amount caramel malt sweetness underneath. Finish with nice dry bitterness. Very good pale ale. Hobbledehoy (10), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 14, 2006 Pours a transparent golden yellow with a small foamy white head and virtually no carbonation. Aroma is dominated by citrus fruits and floral hops. Flavor is very citrussy and sour with hints of grapefruit and lemon. Finish is bitter and very dry. Medium bodied consistency with an acidic bite that parches the mouth like citrus juice. A bit too acidic for my taste, but a good brew nonetheless. Lumpy (1802), Carrollton, Texas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 7, 2006 Bottle. Sometimes you reflect on things that have happened, things that are happening, and things that will never happen. Such is the nature of this beer. Nose-very nice. Reminds me of Colorado in the early Fall. Body-Amber/dark honey. Taste-bitter, Colorado, hay, hops, easy on the malts. Most Pale Ales, in my humble experience, go heavy on the hops and light on the malt. This one goes heavy on the malt and pulls the reins back on the hops. B-fucking-ravo. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 30, 2006 Thanks to my Secret Santa and brentfeesh for sending this my way. Nice ruby-golden color with a white head. Very hoppy aroma, some light grass and fruits as well. Nice body though a bit too much of the pine, it drowns out the malts. Ending is quite nice, smooth yet hoppy. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA
