Drank this one after getting pissed at fedex today for messing up my SS package! Hoppy, but not overly so, a nice drink when I don’t want a hop bomb! Slightly sweet, malty, nice color. Very nice drink. Thanks to Duane for this brew!

Thanks OhioDad. Amber orange beer, thin white head. Sweet fruity hop aroma, orange and grapefruit with some toasted malt character as well. Flavour is pretty straightforward, grapefruity hops, orange, sweet slightly caramelly malt. A bit of toast. Well-balanced and well made. Medium bitterness. Very refreshing beer.

Actually pretty darn good. Classic APA good hoppyness crisp and clean. Not really much more to say about it.

A solid APA. I was hoping for more given the brewer and high ratebeer rating. Hoppy and peppery which I like but finish has harsh aspect that detacts.

"I was very unimpressed with my first Burning River Pale Ale. I’m a huge fan of Great Lakes, so this one was a let down. The beer isn’t terrible at all, but just average. I’ve had other APA’s that had more character and flavor. The pour was orange with a white head. The flavor was hoppy, and bitter, with a strong aftertaste. "

Bottle. GL is quickly becoming one of my favorite breweries. Thin, bubbly, white, head. Bright, copper, clear appearance. Full, fruity aroma. Fairly thin consistency. Wonderful fruity flavor with a dry, hoppy end. Very nice. Very smooth. I loved it.

Pours a slightly amber gold color with a minimal head. The aroma seemed to have hints of pine and caramel. The flavor had a medium to light hopiness with a malty caramel finish. Fine pale ale.

Bottle from trade with OhioDad. Poured a clear copper color with a creamy off-white head that left some lacing. The aroma found grapefruit, pine, lemon, and some graininess. The flavor followed the same with pine, grapefruit, wheat, and a hint of malts. Medium body with a medium bitterness. Truly a delight! Thanks Scott!!
