Friend sent six pack from brewery area. Appearance: The beer pours a copper coloration. The head was a creamy off white coloration. There is thick lacing remaining behind on the glass. Aroma The beer has a solid sweet malty breadyness. The hops provide a piney counter note. FlavorThe beer has a very strong malty breadyness. The hops are nice and oily and provide a peppery piney taste. Overall: The beer has a medium mouthfeel. The beer is nicely balanced between hops and maltyness. This is a dam fine drinking beer. It is not as good as Sierra Nevada Pale Ale but is dam fine in its own right

Pours light copper with a white head that leaves very quickly. Aroma has strong citrus and piney hops - quite appetizing. Beer is medium bodied with med / light carbonation. Very smooth mouthfell. Taste has some malt to smooth things out, but there is quite a bit of floral hoppiness. There is a bit of woodiness to it, but it is mainly floral - the woodiness is mainly on the finish. Overall a very good pale ale.

Bottle and on draft at Great American Ball Park. Pours very clear, nice orangish copper, thin off-white head, dissipates to a layer of foam that sticks around and has average lacing. Aroma is not strong, but good; fruity, citrusy, tiny bit florally. Flavor is very nicely balanced, probably slightly to the bitter side, but perfect for an APA. Good amount of bitterness with a solid, but not overdone malt backbone and some hop complexity - a little bit of a florally, citrusy finish. Mouthfeel is medium, very smooth, and carbonation is right. This is a really solid APA, just very well balanced and not overdone in any area, which is how I like them.

Amber/gold with a small, frothy, off white head. Aroma and flavor of resiny citrus hops and toasty malt undertones. Pine in there as well. Medium, balanced palate. Excellent, easy drinking pale.

A little darker pour than the gold one. Hoppy smelling, and malty. Taste is also grassy, sweet, and hoppy. Not bad actually, rather drinkable. I liked it.

In the bottle. Pours a reddish dark gold with an ivory head. Aroma is nice: citrus and fruity from the solid finishing hop content. Flavor is initially like tea, but subsides into a more traditional hop bitterness. Fine malt body producing a level of sweetness that engulfs the bitterness.

this one didn’t leave much of an impression with me one way or the other, a pretty typical midwestern beer, and again i’m not the biggest fan of pale ales

(bottle - 12 oz) Hazy orange color with a thick and lasting tan head. Aroma is rather citrusy and slightly hoppy with hints of pine. Maybe some caramel too. A nice hoppy flavor at the front balanced with a smooth, piney and malty sweetness and a bitter and hoppy finish. Aftertaste is bitter and hoppy. Medium-bodied and very drinkable. Thanks Dan.
