Apr 10, 2009 On tap at Brixie’s in Brookfield, IL. Pint presented with a dark amber hue, and an off white, foamy head that left some nice, clinging lace. The aroma was more hop-floral to me with maybe a touch of resin as a dry note. Light malt, and some mid-fruit sweetness as apricot/peach was also detected. The flavor was a more intense version of these complimented with a medium bitterness, some earthy tones, and a slight off note as paper/parchment. Otherwise, a respectable brew.

Apr 8, 2009 Bottle Pour.Good smell,hops and citrus.Orange-ish color with a decent head.I like the flavor citrus and hops nicely balanced and not overpowering,could drink alot of this.Easy to drink IMO maybe too easy!Really good beer.Will drink this again.

Mar 29, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a glowing “burning” orange with a frothy off white head. Aroma of sweet malt and citrusy hops. The flavor is surprisingly malty and sweet with accents of grapefruit, peach, and apricot. Very balanced and extremely drinkable. Well suited for warmer months and pairing with food. An essential Ohio-brewed staple.

Mar 19, 2009 12 oz bottle.Poured a nice, crystal clear light brown/ orange color with a thin white head. Light lacing. Earthy aroma of pine and grass. Tastes malty and slightly sweet upfront with a bitter dry finish. Good balance for the most part. Decent brew
