A - Pours a transparent copper color with a thin white head that disapates quickly. S - Smells of spices and hops. T - Taste spicey (ginger) with a nice hoppy aftertaste M - Has a lot of depth and a few lays of taste D - Is really drinkable, however the spice might get to you. bottle thanks to miketd. copper body with a thin white head that turns into a ring quite fast. ginger, spices, some caramel and some honey on the nose. nice thickness with a flavor of light ginger and fruit. good finish with some ginger that smooths out nicely.

From bottle. Pours amber with slight tan head. Aroma is of sweet malt and spice. Decent mouthfeel with a good spice blend, caramel and malt. Alcohol is very well hidden. I was surprised to see it was 7.5%. Decent winter warmer.

I’ve had bottle and tap. Pours clear dark copper color with off white head. Aroma is cinnamon, ginger, and alcohol. Has a medium body. Flavor is cinnamon (which is more pronounced on tap than in bottle form), ginger, alcohol, and a caramel sweetness that is not cloying. Overall, this is a solid winter warmer that is a favorite of locals. Myself included.

Not something that I could drink all night, but good for a taste. I had not even a bottle so I might change my mind if I had more, but pretty solid effort. My first beer from this brewer.

Draft at Kuma’s. Not super spicy, but my palate may have been blasted when I got to it. A very nice ESB base on this one with some light spiciness and good bitterness to compliment. Pours a dark brown, very fresh tasting and drinkable. Very nice.

big ginger aroma gives way to nearly overspiced flavor. just as things get cloying and messy, the spice fades and super toasty, biscuity malt shines like the sun. seems like the ’09 has far better malt character (or perhaps a more careful hand with the spice)

Bottle nice artwork.. Pours an amber body. Sweet malty a bit bready, spiced with cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. Nice etoh to finish a bit dry.
