| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 20, 2007 bottle - Copper color, medium size white head that disipates quickly. Little lacing. Nice aroma. You get a hint of cinnamon. There was some spices in the flavor, but overall it was a little underwhelming. Good drinkable beer, but I was expecting more based on the other Great Lakes beer I’ve tried. Didn’t really like the way it finished. Worthly of a try during the holidays just to be festive. joshwilfong (784), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 17, 2007 Slightly hazed, copper body is topped by a small offwhite head. Very little lacing. Aroma is malty toffee, with ginger, cinnamon, and a hint of honey. Taste echoes the aroma with the malt base more caramel than toffee. Quite spicy. A very nice Christmas ale. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 14, 2007 Heavy Heavy Heavy on the cinnamon, probably the most I have ever had in a beer. Ginger is much more subdued, but its there. Solid holiday beer, goes outside the box of the average winter seasonal.
