Nov 24, 2009 Bottle. Poured a clear brown with a large tan head. Aroma was full of malts and spices including, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. Flavor was nice and smooth with plenty of spice to go around.

Nov 22, 2009 12 oz. bottle from Ludlow Wines. Pours a clear red amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon, ginger, pine, and floral hops. Flavor of cinnamon, ginger, malts, honey, and warming alcohol. Light bodied, spicy, and sweet. Dry spiced finish. Very nice Christmas ale.

Nov 14, 2009 On tap. Beautiful dark translucent brown with fluffy tan head. Pleasant spicy ginger and cinnamon aroma, but the spiciness overwhelmed the rest of the beer; It was like drinking a glass of extracts. Perhaps christmas ales aren’t my thing.

Nov 13, 2009 12oz bottle. Tan, ginger ale color. Moderate head that hides fragrance. Sweet malty aroma. Much thicker and creamier than it appears! Certainly taste the cinnamon and ginger notes, very sweet. Mild bitterness. Can’t seem to find the 7.5% abv in the taste. Finishes sweet balanced with a touch of hops. Easy to drink. Very good.
