Slightly hazed, copper body is topped by a small offwhite head. Very little lacing. Aroma is malty toffee, with ginger, cinnamon, and a hint of honey. Taste echoes the aroma with the malt base more caramel than toffee. Quite spicy. A very nice Christmas ale.

Bottle via trade with Jvittorio4187. Bright garnet/ iced tea color with a ivory lacing. Tons of cinnamon and ginger in the aroma. Sweet malty flavor with a big ginger and cinnamon backbone. Somewhat bitter.

Bottle. Pours a light bronze color with a small white head. Sweet aroma with some spiciness. Flavor has many different spice notes to it, with a pronounced cinnamon taste. Medium body with a crisp finish and some bitterness. A nice brew for the holidays.

Heavy Heavy Heavy on the cinnamon, probably the most I have ever had in a beer. Ginger is much more subdued, but its there. Solid holiday beer, goes outside the box of the average winter seasonal.

Bottled, thanks BigErn for hooking this one up as an extra. Pours transparent light copper color with some fizz but no lasting head. Aroma comprised of spicy ginger, light butterscotch and plenty of honey. Earthy cinnamon notes with sweet caramel and more honey dominate the flavor, with just the faintest tint of smoke as well. Somewhat one-dimensional; the palate fades pretty quick. It has some intrigue to it though.

very nice reddish brown but not much of a head. You can definitely taste the spices but just a slight bitter after taste. I like the christmas ales but I am also glad that they only come out once a year. Good for a couple but that’s all

Mostly spice in flavor. Little malt flavor, and almost no hops. Red/brown color.
